Sitting Fee
Portraits by Chris Carroll at Lightbox Nyack are not cheap. We do however, endeavor to keep them inexpensive. To that end, we have developed the following pricing plan.
Sitting Fee $150
This fee includes everything involved with the shoot itself. We keep the shoot fee low, and charge for prints and files. If we don’t make you look absolutely fabulous, you’re only out a hundred and fifty clams. But we will. We will watch you cry as you see your sons suddenly grown into handsome young men, daughters emerging as confident young women. And then we will sell you pictures.
After the shoot, we will make an appointment for you to come back and view the results. If you can’t return or would like to view your photos at home, a watermarked private web page will be made available for two weeks. You may spend all the time you like trying desperately to narrow down your selection. Good luck with that. Did I mention we take credit cards?
*Makeup artists are available for an additional fee. Always nice, but frankly, our Lightbox Nyack light here makes everybody look terrific, with or without face paint.

Digital Negatives
Lightbox Nyack provides two different ways to purchase your pictures, digitally:
High Res Digital Negative (tif and jpeg) $350
Lo-res Digital jpeg (1080px) $150
The Digital Negative option grants all personal usage rights. This entails a full resolution, photographic file in .tiff and jpeg formats. This option is suitable (for example) if you want a headshot from which you can make unlimited prints. We will also provide lo-res jpeg files for use on FaceBook or your personal web page with the Digital Negative option.
Purchasing just the lo-res will provide a final digital image that is suitable for FaceBook and other online use, yet too small to be usable for printing or other distribution.

All prints are presented on professional-grade photographic paper. Professional framing available on a custom basis.

Books
Outside of a dog, a book is man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.
Lightbox Nyack is affiliated with AsukaBook, an elite fine art book printer not available to the general public. The results are spectacular, make sure you ask to see some samples next time you’re at the studio.

Price List
We really like taking pictures. Negotiating over prices, not so much. And you people don’t seem to enjoy it much either. We’ve decided on a new pricing regime here at Lightbox Nyack. One where you don’t risk much up front, you only pay for the pictures you love. And we’re pretty confident you WILL love them. Try us.
